MUL 461 MOTION GRAPHICS

This was the final project for my 4-week Motion Graphics course at National University.

I was given 3 weeks to conceptualize, storyboard, design, and animate a 30-second commercial or show opener that incorporates basic motion graphic techniques. My overall approach for the project was to highlight the quirks and individuality of different characters working in The Office. It was my first time using After Effects, and I strove to go beyond the minimum requirements to include/practice more advanced techniques such as chroma keying and experimenting with different effects.

NOTE: I was advised by my professor during revisions to cut out what I had planned for BJ Novak; he didn’t think the timing would work out, so please don’t come for me, Office fans!
